SERVICES
The National Road Association of Illinois offers a variety of services to schools, museums, civic clubs, and other not-for-profit organizations. These include speakers, classroom programs, the Conestoga wagon and rope maker, and workshops.

The National Road Association of Illinois can provide a speaker to discuss topics related to the National Road and the Conestoga wagon. Classroom programs are patterned for the appropriate age level and include a fun activity involving 1800’s era games and toys. The Conestoga wagon and rope maker are part of the Illinois Prairie Experience, a hands-on look at the National Road and its importance to the state’s early growth. The National Road Association of Illinois has hosted workshops for museums and not-for-profits on topics ranging from attracting volunteers to working with the media.
